School authorities in Nuba Mountains of Southern Kordofan have urged secondary students to get ready to travel to Yida refugee camp, in Unity State, to start the new school year.

Kumbur Payam Education Supervisor Kodatti C. said all the students are entitled to go to Parieng and Yida to attend secondary school.

He asked students, boys and girls, to make preparations for the journey and brief their parents about the journey.

Mr C. said candidates who did the 2011 exams will receive certificates and results in Unity State.

Mr. C. urged all the parents in the counties to let the children who completed primary education to attend secondary education in Yida.

The education authorities decided to transfer Nuba Mountains secondary schools to Yida refugee camp, in South Sudan, because war has prevented foreign teachers to be contracted by local schools.
