NGO TRAINS RADIO JOURNALISTS

An NGO working in the media sector has organizes a two-week training of radio journalists in Juba.

Speaking to radio Bakhita, trainer Redouan Harrak said Free Voice organized the training to prepare journalists in South Sudan and to set up some new radio stations.

Mr Harrak stresses that their main target was to give meaning to the media landscape in South Sudan and support the independent media and journalists.

He added that the training includes basic and advanced radio journalism.

Trainee Gabriel Kiir expressed his joy for the rare opportunity to learn new skills.

He said the participants are learning how to use recording machines and editing programmes.

Mr Kiir added that advanced students learn how to make radio programme and interview techniques.

Free Voice said it plans other actions to develop radio journalism across South Sudan.
