The youth of Yei River County expressed excitement with the beginning of 2012 and the year should represent a turning point for the people of the area.
Youth representative Paul Ohesa told Radio Easter that the New Year should be a point where the citizens and the Government learn from what went wrong last year and put things right this year.He said rampant conflicts were the major challenge the county faced last year.
Mr Ohesa said that killings and impunity spoiled the community spirit in Yei.
The youth representative added that the problems will be resolved when the parties involved find away of coming together and recognize the truth.
