Eastern Equatoria health minister has urged citizens to take care of their health and leave aside risky behaviours that cause injuries and death in order to face the New Year healthy and with a positive attitude.

Sam Felix Makuja told the people of Eastern Equatoria in a message to enjoy the Christmas festivity in peace and love and welcome the New Year in a healthy, happy and prosperous mode, Radio Emmanuel reported.

He urged people to keep themselves healthy to be able to engage in economic and development activities next year.

The minister cautioned citizens over risky behaviours that cause accidents.

He said the health facilities are inadequate to handle complicated cases during the festive season and people should take good care of themselves.
