Speaking to Bakhita Radio this morning in Juba, Baba Medan Konyi said Lou Nuer and Bor Dinka from seven counties of Jonglei state attacked areas in Pibor County.
MP Baba explained that the attackers started from Wuno and Karwenya bormas and continued to further their attacks into other areas of the County.
He said no causalities so far have been reported.
Mr. Baba called on the NGOs to rescue the vulnerable groups like women, children and older people and provide them with food and water.
He urged the UNMISS to intensify its presence in the area and transport women and children to Pibor town to avoid mass killing.
Pibor County Commissioner was not available for comment.
