Three university students were released and reached Malakal on Sunday after they were abducted by a militia group from Unity State in Khartoum.
About ten days ago, the three young men disappeared in Khartoum apparently kidnapped by militia elements that brought them to Bentiu, Radio Voice of Love reported.The students, originally from Malakal, are now back home after their families bought their freedom.
The future of their studies at the √É’Two Niles University’ in Khartoum remains uncertain since young people from South Sudan are increasingly becoming the target of forced recruitment by rebel groups in Khartoum.
