The deputy governor of Central Equatoria state said today that security in Juba is declining although it has improved at state level.

Manase Lomole said there has been an upsurge of criminal activities in Juba including killings, rapes, robberies and fake money cases.

He said security operatives are working hard to stamp out criminality from the capital.

The deputy governor called on all Juba residents to contribute towards a crime-free city.

Mr. Manase represents Governor Clement Wani Konga at the Governors’ Forum that kicked off today in Juba.
