Gidel Catholic parish, in Nuba Mountains, started preparing and laying blocks to build its own church.
The youth leader of Gidel parish Tulo A. said youth groups from all communities agreed to offer two people each to assist in the preparation of the blocks and other works.He added that the groups also contribute with some money.
Mr. Tulo said it is important to have a church that gives importance to the parish.
The community gathers for Sunday mass under the trees.
He added that the parish entrusted the youth with the task of building the church.
Mr. Tulo said so far the youths prepared about 8,000 blocks.
