A Sudanese soldier captured by SPLA-North forces is pleading for mercy and urged the two warring parts to end the conflict in South Kordofan.
The soldier was captured after a fierce battle when SAF attempted to take the SPLA garrison of Anngarutu.He was wounded in one leg.
He said that he was abandoned by his fellow soldiers on the road.
He added that he is from Mendi but he was displaced by aerial bombardments and went to Khartoum.
The wounded man claims that he is not a soldier but he received a machine gun after a quick military training in Khartoum.
Two SAF soldiers died during the attack to Anngarutu garrison.
