A Catholic priest told Christians in Malakal to take good care of vulnerable members in their homes without segregation, especially orphans.

Steven Nyodi, the parish priest of Christ the King, urged the faithful during yesterday’s homily to treat orphans like their own children, Voice of Love reported.

Fr. Nyodi said many orphans complained during Christmas that they did not get their festival’s clothes like the other children because their parents were dead.

The cleric added that some children said their uncles do not pay their school fees.

Fr. Nyodi said Christians should give good example in the society.

He asked them not to favour their kids over orphans at home to avoid spiritual harm to the vulnerable.
