The age old tradition of cattle rustling in South Sudan is the direct result of lack of education in the country.
This is the view Ngor Nyok Ator, a student in Upper Nile University, shared with Voice of Love.
He said the rampant cattle raiding and killing of people happens because many youths are not educated and follow the traditional influence to cattle loving.
Mr. Nyok added that a learned youth cannot drop his diplomas and go for cattle raiding.
He underlined that trained people believe in dialogue rather than physical fighting.
Mr. Nyok urged the people of South Sudan to send their children to school.
He also asked mature youths to join adult education.
Mr. Nyok asked youths to work hard to make the economy of the country strong.
He warned that a nation with so many conflicts and a lazy youth cannot have a competitive economy.
