More than 200 South Sudanese fresh graduates sat for a written interview to compete for 20 positions at the newly established Khartoum Bank.

Rahid El- Sunni a member of the Bank’s Planning Head told SCR News that the bank needs only 20 fresh graduates adding that many more applied for the same position.

Stephen Kang Pal said the interview was too difficult although he admitted that people with good knowledge will pass it.

Mikala Modong, a graduate from the University of Juba, said she has lost hope because the questions were very tough and the candidates were not allowed to use calculators.

She added that she could not answer the first question that asked for the translation of some statement into Arabic.

The bank said it will train the selected 20 staff who make it after the oral interview and later proceed to recruit more.
