The Pope will visit Benin in mid-November making his second trip to Africa.
Pope Benedict will present his documents on the Second African Synod during his stay in Benin.The document develops the theme “The Church in Africa in Service to Reconciliation, Justice and Peace” √ɬê and will guide the life of the Church in the continent for the coming years.
The visit that starts on November 18 and concludes on the 20th coincides with the celebrations of Benin’s 150 years of evangelization.
In 2009, the Pope visited Cameroon and Angola.
