Medical workers in Central Equatoria State received training in medical and psychological war trauma recovery in post conflict situation.

Juliet Weere, a program coordinator for the International Cross Cultural Exchange, based in Kampala-Uganda, told Bakhita Radio that the organization works to assist war traumatize societies.

She said South Sudan has just come out of war and cases of trauma and madness are common due to prolong bloody conflict.

Ms. Weere revealed that her organization focuses also on HIV AIDS issue and its reality in the post conflict countries such as South Sudan.

Ms. Weere added that the training also aimed at helping people with mental health issues, especially health workers.
