EASTERN EQUATORIA STATE SORTS APPLICANTS FOR GOVERNMENT JOBS

The Ministry of Public Service and Human Resource Development in Eastern Equatoria state is sorting out applicants for civil service posts following an advertisement placed on the media three months ago.

Minister William Odingila told Emmanuel Radio that there was an encouraging response of candidates from both South Sudan and the diaspora.

He added that the promotions committee has yet to sort the existing personnel who qualify for promotions, following a decree from Governor Louis Lobong Lojore.

Mr. Odingila said competent civil servants who were not promoted will receive priority treatment.

He added that 77 candidate including people from the Diaspora have also been shortlisted for super scale positions.

Mr. Odingila lamented the amount of forged academic papers especially of candidates from the Diaspora.

He said primary school leavers performed better than some the people with smart qualifications.

The minister said the interviews with applicants were delayed by the screening process of papers from the diaspora candidates.
