POOR SANITATION ENCOURAGES HIGH RATE OF DISEASES

Poor sanitation environment is the main responsible for the high rate of diseases in South Kordofan State, in the Sudan.

South Kordofan Secretary of health Tutu Mastafa Turkash said a dirty environment increases the high rate of diseases in the communities.

He added that most diseases affect people due to poor sanitation and ignorance.

He stressed that the issue of health starts with the responsibility of each individual and involves the entire community in order to get rid of diseases in the region.

Mr. Tutu added that the health ministry is planning to establish programs to train the community about health issues.

He encouraged health personnel in the various fields to advise to the communities to keep their environment clean.
