The people of South Sudan need sustainable peace and good security for the economy to grow in the new country.
This was the view Ustaz Anthony Achuil Arop shared during the International Day of Peace celebrations at Malakal stadium on Wednesday, Voice of Love reported.
Ustaz Achuil asked the government to engage in dialogue with the armed groups and opposition parties to let peace settle in the region.
He appealed to the people of South Sudan to unite and speak one language and be one people in order to build the nation.
Ustaz Achuil said that South Sudanese fought wars for so many years in search of total peace in the region.
He added that if proper security is provided peace shall prevail.
