BRAZIL VOWS TO SUPPORT SOUTH SUDAN

The president of Brazil said her country is ready to support South Sudan and its development.

Dilma Rousseff, who opened the General Debate at the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, warmly welcomed South Sudan to the family of nations.

Senhora Rouseeff added that Brazil is ready to cooperate with South Sudan and to contribute to its sovereign development.

Traditionally, Brazil always opens the UN’s general debate followed by the speech of the US president.
