A party leader has accused the SPLM of sponsoring the resignation of opposition leaders to create political confusion in the parties.
SPLM-DC MP Onyoti Adigo Nyakwech told the press this afternoon in Juba that radical element within the SPLM are behind the wave of opposition resignations, Bakhita Radio reported.Leaders from the UDF and SPLM-DC have resigned during the last weeks.
Mr. Adigo said SPLM-DC secretary general Sandra Boma Malwal Ð who resigned last week Ð was seen in cars belonging to the SPLM.
The Minority Leader said the resignation of Ms. Malwal was a SPLM sponsored project.
He added that the elements who resigned from the SPLM-DC will soon join the leading party in South Sudan.
Mr. Adigo added that SPLM-DC members have been harassed by the members of the ruling party who closed their offices in the states.
