The Governor of Central Equatoria State said his government wants to give first priority to investors in the agriculture sector.
Governor Clement Wani Konga made the remark while laying the foundation stone at a new block of upmarket apartments in Juba-na-Bari yesterday, Bakhita Radio reported.Governor Konga said he elected agriculture as an investment priority because a hungry man is sick.
He urged both foreign and local investors to promote agriculture in Central Equatoria State.
Governor Konga said also Juba has to be reformed and liberated from shanty residential areas to free land for investment.
The governor dismissed allegations that his government is not availing land for public or private investment.
