People of Woli Boma in Wunduruba Payam, Central Equatoria, were attacked and displaced two nights ago, weeks after their neighbours from Moje Boma suffered the same fate.

Joseph Dili, MP from Lainya North in the national assembly, told SCR News that people from the ground said they were attacked at night and could not identify the attackers.

The displaced from Woli joined their neighbours from Moje in Bereka Boma of Lainya County.

The number of displaced people is not yet known.

MPs from the national assembly will visit the displaced tomorrow at Bereka and their home bomas.

It seems that at the root of the displacement is an ongoing dispute between different bomas of Wunduruba whether to belong to Juba or to Lainya County.
