The development of the new nation requires time and commitment.
The national minister for information Barnaba Marial Benjamin said yesterday that the 100 days programme announced by President Salva Kiir Mayardit during the first joint meeting of South Sudan Legislature needs time for a gradual implementation, Bakhita Radio reported.He stressed that the 100 Days Programme intends to develop education, health, communications and security in South Sudan.
Dr. Marial asked the Anti-Corruption Commission to implement good governance and apply the laws at all levels of government and private sectors in the country.
The spokesman said the implementation of the 100 Days Program starts when each ministry receives the respective funds.
The budget should be presented by the Finance ministry on Friday to the cabinet for approval.
