An official lectured the youth in Juba about their responsibilities towards the development of South Sudan and urged them to be patriotic.

Clement Janda, a member of the Council of States, delivered yesterday a public lecture on the youth’s role on nation building at Juba University.

Canon Janda said the youths are the leaders of tomorrow who should start their journey of patriotism and help sustain the country’s development.

Students from seven different secondary schools commented on the lecture.

Joseph Gatkuoth Kutoi, representing Juba Day Secondary School, called upon fellow students to focus on education and agriculture, the backbones of any country.

Mary Keji, from Juba Girls Secondary, urged the female students to study harder to raise the affirmative action form 25 to 50 percent.
