Two people were killed and two more injured in Nuba Mountains when Sudanese troops clashed with opposition forces.
Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) killed two old men inside their houses in Anggarutu village days after President Omar Al-Bashir announced a two-week unilateral ceasefire in South Kordofan.The two men injured in the crossfire were immediately rushed to a local hospital.
The Sudanese forces met strong resistance from the SPLA-North in Anggarutu and withdrew to Mafuluk and Tolodi where they are based.
