Pupils of Yei’s Jigomoni Primary School are prepared to march during the independence celebration at the county’s headquarters.
Bidali Samuel is the teacher responsible for the marching. He told Easter Radio that the pupils started practicing last week and were ready for the parade.Teacher Dramundu Jackson said there was a big difference in the preparations of the pupils towards the independence celebrations.
He added that the pupils are happy and in high spirits getting ready for the independence.
Some of the pupils expressed what kind of a nation they want to have: peaceful, joyous and with hard working people.
Teacher Bidali urged the parents to encourage their children to take part in the independence celebrations.
He asked parents to tell their children the meaning of the independence.
