Eastern Equatoria students are leading the rank of Sudan Certificate Examinations, this year, with the best performances in South Sudan.
Patrick Adam Chollong tops the ranking with a score of 78.9 per cent.Tumalo Butrous Simon leads the best female students with 77.6 per cent and Catherine Firmo Oduho follows with 76.3 per cent.
Eastern Equatoria state minister for education, science and technology, Michael Lopuke Lotyam, says 292 candidates had registered for the exams.
He added that ten students did not turn up for the final tests.
Ninety two per cent of the students passed the examinations.
