Malakal’s venue for the Independence celebration is ready.
Upper Nile Deputy Governor Andrea Maya said preparations were going well in his state, Voice of Love FM reported.He thanked the civil society organizations for their hard work to finish the venue for the independence celebration before time could catch them up.
Mr. Maya assured the citizens that the independence feast shall be celebrated in the state on July 9 without change.
The deputy governor explained that the independence of South Sudan is not for the SPLM alone.
He urged every citizen to turn up and be ready for the celebration as the day draws near.
Mr. Maya said that he wanted South Sudan to be a democratic country where every person has equal rights.
Upper Nile state will celebrate the independence at Malakal Stadium.
