Women and children took to the streets of Kauda, in Nuba Mountains, to protest against the increase of violence in the state of Southern Kordofan.
Security in the state is deteriorating as the government continues to send Antonov bombers targeting civilians.Yesterday, hundreds of women and children protested in Kauda against the killings of innocent civilians due to air bombardments.
The head of administrative unit accompanied the peaceful demonstrators to the UNMIS compound.
The protesters claimed that UNMIS is not paying enough attention to what is happening to the civilians and accused them to be responsible for plane bombardments going on in the area.
