The Anglican cathedral of Kadugli was looted and a number of pastors were arrested and tortured while others went missing in Southern Kordofan.
The head of the of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul told SCR News that their cathedral in Kaduguli was damaged and other churches were burnt down.
He said that motorbikes were stolen and valuable documents destroyed.
The Archbishop manifested concern for a number of pastors who went missing.
Archbishop Deng added that many villages and churches were destroyed in South Kordofan.
He appealed to humanitarian organizations to help the displaced of South Kordofan who are in dire need of shelter, water and food.
Archbishop Deng said the Troika and the international community should press president Omar al-Bashir to spot bombing his own people.
The ECS Archbishop added that what is happening in South Kordofan is ethnic cleansing being carried out by Mr. Al-Bashir’s forces.
