Health workers operating in Eastern Equatoria State are asked to remain calm as the government is working round the clock to secure incentives.
This came after health workers in Nimule threatened to lay down tools after leaving for three months without incentives.
The Medical Director said that the worsening health condition is creating much worry about the future.
Etin Concord Erib, the Director General of the State Ministry of Health in Eastern Equatoria urged health workers to stay calm saying the ongoing delay is not only in Eastern Equatoria State but it’s across the country.
He mentioned that authorities across South Sudan are pushing all the health partners to provide the incentives in place.
Concord however reveals that responsibilities have been divided whereby the State Ministry of Health and UNICEF are responsible for drugs consignment and WHO works on reagents to battle issues of drug insufficiency.
