Radio Maria is a civil association within the Catholic Church that aims to spread the Gospel through its radio stations.

The radio station is located at St Joseph’s Parish Catholic Archdiocese of Juba, and can be tuned to on its frequency 95.4 FM, “A Christian Voice on Your Homes.”

His Eminence Dr Stephen Cardinal Ameyu Martin Mulla who inaugurated the Radio said Radio Maria is not merely a radio station, but a profound platform for evangelization that will forester community’s relationship.

He adds that the radio will play a significant role in the community by enriching the religious lives of its listeners and fostering a sense of Unity among the faithful.

Ameyu calls on Radio Maria’s management to promote quality gospel content that can touch the heart of humanity.

“We must promote quality, by quality content, it’s not politics, quality content means the values must be transmitted in this radio, the values of the Gospel that touch the heart of humanity. In this way, we can ensure that the message of the Gospel can touch many people who have not heard about Christ.”

Radio Maria began as a parish radio in Arcellasco d’Erba in 1983 and became independent from the parish in 1987.
