A landmine explosion left four people dead and one seriously injured in Unity State.
A Church source told SCR News via e-mail that a car used by the NGO World Relief International hit a landmine yesterday between Awila and Boung on the Mayom-Abiemnom road.The driver and three women died on the spot.
Another woman lost an arm in the explosion.
Officers from SPLA and South Sudan Police Services rushed immediately to the scene of the blast.
SPLA spokesperson Colonel Philip Aguer Panyang accused Khartoum of supplying mines to militia groups in order to cause insecurity in Unity State.
This is the second incident with landmines in the state in three weeks.
