Eastern Equatoria chief justice cautions the youth against division over land issues urging them to unite.

Justice Charles Oyoo was reacting to a speech by Magwi County youth leader during the fifth CPA anniversary belated celebrations at Nimule Payam last Friday who complained of rampant land wrangles in the area with no place for returnees to settle.

Mr. Oyoo criticized the youth leaders for the ill remarks.

He appealed to the youth in South Sudan to unite, saying division creates weakness and deters development.

Mr. Oyoo said it was not wise for the youths to instigate violence and create separation over land within Southern Sudanese, adding that land matters should be left to elders and the government.
