Kauda Peace Girls High School in Nuba Mountains that was inaugurated on February 28, 2010 has started operations.
Deputy Principal Fred Karungi told Voice of Peace Radio that teaching is in progress despite of many challenges the institution faces.
He added that 275 girls registered so far.
Mr. Karungi said the school has 11 teachers and they are not enough.
He added that the school needs financial support.
Mr. Karungi advised the entire community to support girls’ education.
Peace Secondary girls said their school is the best in Nuba Mountains.
