The secretary general of Yei Catholic Diocese has urged Christians to love and care for one another.
Fr. Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit said the readings from Sunday’s liturgy encouraged believers to take courage and hope in the Lord Jesus, Easter Radio reported.He appealed to all citizens to reconcile with one another as within 40-days time South Sudan will be declared an independent nation.
Fr. Lodongo added that without reconciliation the nation cannot be built.
The cleric assured the citizens that Jesus will be with them even in during the difficult time of nation building.
Fr. Lodongo made these statements during the Eucharistic celebration at Christ the King Cathedral.
