Renovation works at the Juba Stadium will be concluded before the South Sudan’s Independence celebrations.
Technical Manager Khalid El Jack told Bakhita Radio that the football pitch grounds were levelled and the new grass that was sown yesterday should be fully grown by the end of June.He said the seeds of a special type of grass proper for soccer fields came from the United States.
Mr. El Jack said the stadium will have a new sprinkle irrigation system fully operational this month.
Juba Stadium is undergoing substantial renovation works to host a football match during the Independence celebrations.
