Two farmers were killed last week in Ferish area of Nuba Mountains by Arab nomads.
Ibrahim Hassan Tutu told the Voice of Peace Radio that the deceased were in the fields preparing land for the cultivation when some Arabs killed them on the spot.He added that a third farmer ran away.
Mr. Hassan added that the cattle owners are not happy with the situation of Arab nomads in the region.
He said that their cattle were chased away from grazing fields and water points by Arab nomads.
Mr. Hassan urged the government to provide military protection to the people of Ferish.
