A group of special troops moving on military vehicles entered Kauda, in Nuba Mountains, on Friday.
The Sudan Armed Forces group came from South Kordofan state capital Kadugli, Voice of Peace Radio reported.Heiban County SPLM Chairman Younan Albarut Ajour said the special force was sent to investigate incidents that took place during the elections in Debbi.
However, the military convoy came to Kauda instead.
Locals ordered the troops to leave the town immediately.
