The Greater Upper Nile, Bahr el Ghazal and Greater Equatoria youth associations called GUBEYA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the South Sudan Youth Society and the Organization Community Initiative Support Program to better delivery services to the people of South Sudan.
Addressing the press yesterday afternoon in Juba, GUBEYA’s Chairperson John Goi Deng said the Memorandum aimed at reaching a consensus on how best to run youth activities across the region, Bakhita Radio reported.
Mr. Goi explained that the youth was scattered during the long civil war and now it needs to come together for the good purpose of providing better services to the people of South Sudan.
Joint Procedure Centre director Matata Frank Elikana said the agreement would give the youth more strength to deliver services with enthusiasm.
Mr. Matata concluded that civil society organizations are important to encourage democracy in the country.
