Don Bosco Primary School of Tonj South County in Warrap State that opened doors last March is to have first term exams on May 30.

Salesian Br. Raju Toppo, who is the principal of the school, said the pupils are ready to sit for the exams and teachers set the exams papers that are going to be printed in order for each pupil to get his or her own test, Bon Bosco FM reported.

He said the school has three terms of three months each and the pupils are very enthusiastic ahead of the first exams.

Br. Toppo said the school lacks trained teachers.

He added that the school is looking for trained professionals to teach upper classes.

The principal thanked the government for having sent six trained teachers to the school adding that they are very supportive.

Br. Toppo urged the pupils to study harder for the future of their country and not just to pass exams.

The school is staffed by 22 teachers.
