The state minister of information and telecommunication, Nasike Allan Lochul, said the participants reviewed the draft development plan of South Sudan that was discussed in March by representatives from the ten states.
Ms. Nasike stressed that the objective of the consultation is to ensure that the priorities of the people of Eastern Equatoria state are implemented. She clarified that the South Sudan development plan has pillars that include security, good governance, food security, economic sector and infrastructure, which will help making the development plan a success.
The draft South Sudan development plan covers a three year plan for the soon-to-be new nation.
