The day started with a workshop facilitated by Dr. John Kikati from Kenya who helped the diocese to draft the plan.
Madam Louisa, the diocesan Development coordinator, said the process of drafting the strategic plan started last year.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kissala the of Tombura-Yambio, thanked the facilitator for the work well done.
He thanked the priests, government of Western Equatoria State, catechists, youths and all who contributed to the launching of the strategic plan.
Sapana Abui, representing the governor of Western Equatoria State, said the Church is one leg of the government without which the it cannot move.
