Two staff members working for the mission were on their way from Rumbek to Tonj when they found a road block, Don Bosco FM reported.
James Akech said they met hijackers just five kilometres from the road block.
Mr. Akech said the hijackers tried to beat them and asked them to return to Rumbek latter in the day.
He added that the hijackers had left by yesterday morning when they were returning to Tonj.
He was saddened by the turn of events as the carjackers were flexing their muscles on him armed with guns yet he was powerless.
Mr. Aketch called upon peace keepers to strengthen patrol services to even deserted roads.
