Diplomat hopes the new SSBC facility will improve station signals

China Ambassador to South Sudan Ma Qiang is expecting the new facility of national broadcaster SSBC will improve Radio and Television channels and signal qualities for the citizens to access high-quality programs.

A Chinese diplomat says the project is a new beginning of cooperation between South Sudan and his country.

Amb. Ma Qiang believes that the facility will allow citizens to enjoy the avenue of communication technology across the nation.

“After the handover of the project with South Sudanese Radio and Television channels and signal qualities greatly increased and improved, South Sudanese people will have access to high-quality Radio and TV programs,”

The diplomat further said South Sudan’s broadcasting and TV industry have a bright future of great development.

Information Minister Michael Makuei encourage the SSBC staff to get acquainted with the equipment as they prepare to take over the facility during the final handing-over ceremony

Makuei says the new facility will enable South Sudan to catch up with the world therefore SSBC management to maintain the facility in a good shape

“Today we are receiving this facility. We call it a technical handing over, this is only to enable us and the staff of the SSBC to be introduced, trained, and prepared so that they can take over this task, it is a step toward a final handing over.

The only task which is accomplished now and finalized is the construction of this building by the company, we will be witnessing real progress in this particular field.

Makuei said South Sudan is now moving forward and it will be in a position to catch up with the world soon.

The facility built by Chinese engineers was launched on Tuesday, August, 22nd 2023 and technically handed over to the government.
