South Sudan recieved new Studio from Chines government

South Sudan national Broadcaster, SSBC has received newly modern studios and broadcasting facilities built by China Aid.

The facility was handed over to the government on Tuesday during the ceremony attended by senior government officials and partners.

Information Minister, Michael Makuei Lueth says the new studio of South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation is a landmark to the people of this nation.

He promised that government will ensure the new studio cover the all country and its neighbouring states.

Makuei welcomes the support of the Chines government to South Sudan.

“We will be witnessing real progress in this particular field, in the field of broadcasting. This is where we need to tell the world that we are now moving forward and will be in a position to catch up with the world soon.”

Hon. Makuei urges the management of SSBC to maintain the new studio and warns staff who only come to receive money without doing work to stop such practices.

The China Ambassador to South Sudan Hua Ning says the project is a new milestone for the cooperation between South Sudan and China

He expressed his government is committed to working with the people of South Sudan to make sure that they have quality broadcasting facilities.

“South Sudanese people will access to high-quality video and TV programs, and enjoy the upgrading of communication technology.”

China gave full facilities to SSBC including training the staff and technicians to make sure that they can manage it be their own, says Chines Ambassador.”

The Managing Director of SSBC, James Magok Chillim appeals to the Chines government to continue supporting them with technical expertise

“It’s my humble appeal that the government of China under the leadership of the Ambassador in Juba, after this handing over be able to continue with us because we need technical support and maintains support from the China government.”

The technical handover allows the engineers and technicians to be trained by the chines experts installing equipment, “says the managing director.”

South Sudan Broadcast Cooperation is a government own media that run Television network and radio station in the country.
