The Auxiliary Bishop of Juba Archdiocese Santo Laku Pio is calling on leaders to consider the people in need across the Nation and end their suffering.

Bishop Santo acknowledges the way people are struggling to get food and shelter in many parts of South Sudan.

He says God bless those who give to the needy therefore the Kingdom of God is open to them

“Jesus says how will you go to the kingdom, you everything, there are people who are suffering, some people are hungry, some don’t have support, some don’t have food. God is blessing you so that you share with brothers and sisters that is the important thing to do not for yourself.”

Bishop Santo calls on the leadership of South Sudan to address the need of the citizens by providing medication through the building of good hospitals, provide electricity, adequate security, and schools.

“People in South Sudan do not need everything, we need medication, we need a hospital, we need electricity at home, a place we will not be harassed, and we need our children to go to school to study.” SantoLaku Added.

The bishop further urges leaders to seek wisdom from God to help them lead rightfully and reconcile with those they have offended and follow the right path.

“You will only understand this if you put God first, God will show you what you are doing is not right, and you will get the wisdom of God. You will be able to settle, to settle your family, to settle your relatives, to settle everybody to settle your friends, and then the people will benefit from you.

The bishop was addressing the faithful at St. Joseph Parish on Monday in Juba
