Dr. Baya said vaccinators will go from house to house and called upon the public to welcome them.

He urged parents to report to the nearest health facility if the vaccinators missed their house.

Dr. Baya called upon health officials and community leaders to actively participate in the polio campaign.

Dr. Baya said that it is the responsible for every citizen to fight against polio adding that if the spread of the virus is not stopped it will paralyze more children across the region affecting the new country’s economy and growth.

He added that the campaigns will continue until South Sudan is free of polio and all children safe form the disease.

Dr. Baya said the next campaign starts on March 29 and ends on April 1.
