GoSS sports ministry formed yesterday an association to bring women to practice sports.
Athletics couch Felix Laku said the formation the South Sudan Sports Women Association intends to promote sports activities among women across South Sudan, Bakhita Radio reported.Mr. Laku said the association will help young girls and women including dropouts to get a chance to train and become athletes representing their communities.
Undersecretary Peter Baptist joined a group of women and men to choose the leaders of the Association.
The names were forwarded to the minister for endorsement.
