An opposition leader said the presence of his party in the South Sudan Assembly helped reduce corruption and accelerate development.

SPLM-DC leader Onyoti Adigo Nyikwec told the press yesterday that the government of South Sudan led by the SPLM failed to deliver better services to the population in the last six years, Bakhita Radio reported.

He reiterated that the presence of the SPLM-DC in the Assembly managed to reduce GoSS’ wrongdoings and promoted development that started to pick up recently.

Mr. Onyoti claimed the SPLM-DC brought about major changes in the government.
