Juba County spends two thousand Sudanese pounds per week in campaigns to keep the place clean.

County Commissioner Peter Lodu Gore told SCR News today that the money goes to refreshments for the people who volunteer and the students who constitute in the garbage picking campaign.

The commissioner urged the Central Equatoria Government to appoint workers for litter collection in all the Payams.

Mr. Lodu said downsizing has crippled work on managing wastes.

Every Saturday the commissioner organizes a Juba cleaning campaign.

So far waste collection campaigns were conducted in Juba, Kator and Munuki Payams.
